History
Ohio Institute of Health Careers is a coeducational, non-denominational school, operated by Imaginary, Inc., an Ohio corporation. Formerly known as Columbus Paraprofessional Institute (and New York Tech prior to that), Ohio Institute of Health Careers was established in 1966 and has been providing quality healthcare education in the Columbus area for the past 40 years. In December 2003, a branch campus of Ohio Institute of Health Careers was opened in Elyria, Ohio. The Elyria campus moved to Sheffield Village on August 6, 2007.
Ohio Institute of Health Careers is different from other career colleges; we provide a unique combination of hands-on training and academic theory.
