Our Medical Assisting diploma program provides students with the skills necessary to be responsible for a range of high-level front- and back-office functions. Medical assistants’ responsibilities range from front-office work such as appointment setting, telephone usage, insurance billing and coding, and transcribing physician notes, to back-office tasks such as assisting in taking vital signs, EKGs, assisting in minor office surgery, phlebotomy and other duties associated with assisting medical professionals.
Upon completion of our Medical Assisting program, you could work as an entry-level medical assistant, clinical assistant, administrative assistant or medical receptionist.
